Osborne Reynolds Apparatus

In conjunction with FM 100 Hydraulics Bench.

To study laminar, transitional and turbulent flow.  Tank (transparent) with adjustable overflow pipe.  Water admitted via diffuser and stilling materials, discharged via bellmouth transparent tube with flow control valve.  Flow rate measured by the hydraulics bench or measuring cup.  Dye injection system for flow pattern observation. Optional: Water heating unit.
