Description
Self-contained unit for the study of permeability in permeable media. Rectangular, open-top, stainless steel tank mounted on a mobile steel frame. Features a clear, tempered-glass front panel for the observation of flow patterns. The rear panel has 15 filtered pressure tappings connected to a multi-tube manometer bank for measurement of head distribution. Two adjustable overflows allow the user to maintain different constant water levels. Features self-sealing plates to simulate sheet piling and dams. Includes storage tank with pump, dye injection system and set of models. Requires 150 kg washed sand (not included).
