Self-contained bench for the study of permeability in permeable media. Rectangular, open-top, stainless steel tank mounted on a mobile steel frame. Features a clear, tempered-glass front panel for observation of the flow patterns. Rear panel has 15 filtered pressure tappings connected to a multi-tube manometer bank for measurement of head distribution. Two adjustable overflows allow the user to maintain different constant water levels. Features self-sealing plates to simulate sheet piling and dams. Includes storage tank with pump. Includes a dye injection system and set of models. Requires 150 kg washed sand (not included).
