Description
This apparatus is intended for the visualization of streamlines and flow around various models. A small blower sucks air through a contraction section and viewing window. Fine mesh and flow strengtheners minimize turbulence. The smoke is generated by a smoke generator where a manifold with multiple needle outlets produces smoke streamlines. A black background with lighting enables the streamlines to be clearly seen. A transparent angular scale provides a means for measuring the angle of attack on a model through the viewing window.
