Description
Measures contraction and velocity and discharge coefficients for orifice discharge. Clear acrylic cylinder with adjustable constant head. Water admittance via wire mesh discharge head. Orifice at the bottom of the cylinder. Traverse assembly below the cylinder, with wire and pitot tube. The wire measures jet diameter, pitot tube measures jet velocity. Velocity head on pitot tube and total head are indicated on manometer tubes.
Often used in conjunction with FM 100 Hydraulics Bench.
