Description
For demonstrating the hydrological principles of groundwater flow and application of flow to engineering constructions. Square fiberglass sand tank on an epoxy painted steel frame. Features include two horizontal water inlet pipe diffusers and wire mesh at both ends of the sand tank. Two vertical outlet wells interior to the inlet diffusers. Inlet and outlet controlled by valves for various water flow tables and flow rates. Nineteen tappings with special plastic filter at the base of tank arranged in orthogonal axes; connected to a manometer on side of tank. Requires 100 kg washed sand (not included).
