Bench-top model for experiments on strut loading, deflection, and criticality in horizontal layout. Features electro-mechanical 3kN actuator, load cell 1N accuracy, digital caliper with 0.01mm accuracy for deflection, two knife edges for flexural rigidity. Apparatus for rectangular struts 200 to 800mm long. Includes 12 struts of various materials and sizes. Tests on fixed, free/pivot, or mixed end conditions.
