Description
To work with the universal test frame. Space frame constructed from 2 tension and 1 compression members with built-in spring balance. Members join together at apex with suspended load. Other end of compression member is ball joint fixed to the bed and the other ends of the tension members have chains for attachment to 2 stationary columns. All joints can be slightly swiveled to minimize fixing moment. Resulting force on each member is indicated by spring balance. Line of force for each member measured by a 3-D co-ordinate scale.
