TD 550M is a medium capacity turbo jet engine mounted on a mobile bench with radial flow compressor and axial flow turbine. Thrust over 70N. Started by Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), run by Jet A fuel. Hot gas generated in combustion chamber. Measurement of Inlet air. Exhaust through a nozzle. Automatic front motor start, control and monitoring instrument panel. Ceramic bearings. Lubrication by jet oil in the fuel. Measurement of air flow-rate, fuel flow-rate, speed, thrust, temperatures and pressures. Over-speed sensor and wire-mesh strainer for safety. Software for data display on PC is available. Silencer available upon request.
