Description
Bench top unit, consisting of a Peltier effect unit sandwiched between two insulated vessels. Used to investigate the Peltier and Seebeck effects. The semi-conductor thermo-electric device can be used to heat or cool and will generate a small amount of power when subjected to an externally applied temperature gradient. The apparatus is equally suitable for student experiments or demonstrations.
