Description
Two horizontal plates placed closely together with seals on side edges. Top is a removable transparent plate with a grid to observe stream line pattern. Bottom plate with small holes connected by valves to a water supply and drain. Water is admitted through a diffuser at one end and drained at the other end. Stream lines are produced by regulating flow of dye from a reservoir through a series of very small holes at the upstream end. Mounted on adjustable screw supports with bull’s eye level.
