Description
For studying torque, power, and efficiency characteristics at different speeds for various heads and flow rates of water. The turbine nozzles direct water jets to the runner axial blades. Nozzle pressure is indicated by a pressure gauge. Torque is measured by a prony brake with two spring balances. Speed is indicated by a portable tachometer. Flow rate is measured by measuring tank. Often used with the FM 100 Hydraulic Bench.
