Description
Self-contained mobile bench for studying the characteristics of Pelton turbine under various head and flow rates. Storage tank, pump, turbine, dynamometer, generator, and instrumentation included for measuring flow rate, pressure, speed and torque. Features direct coupling of generator with the turbine by clutch to simulate actual turbine generator operation. Power output measured by either mechanical dynamometer or generator output. Bypass line with control valve allows variation of head and flow rate.
